Puhos Board Oy is the leading Finnish chipboard manufacturer and among the biggest in the Nordic Countries. We manufacture high quality furniture and construction boards and processed products to worldwide  markets. Approximately 60 % of our production is exported.

The popularity of Puhos Board Oy's boards is based on continuous research and development, latest technology and skilled personnel. We were the first in the Nordic Countries to obtain the ISO 9002 Quality Certificate in our sector. In addition, our factory has a quality control agreement with the Technical Research Centre of FinIand (VTT).

Our mill is located in the middle of material flows in the lake area of Eastern Finland. Concern for pure nature and thus for first class raw material is a self-evident part of Puhos Board's quality policy. The majority of wood: materials used consist of by-products from other wood processing mille. Transport is arranged primarily by road and our aim is to make the transport distances as short as possible. The resins used are mainly conveyed to our production straight through pipes from a local producer. In 1999 Puhos Board Oy was granted the ISO 14001 Environmental Certificate.
